Rachael Gillies
I am a fully qualified and experienced Yoga, Pilates and Meditation instructor. I have been practicing yoga myself for 23 years and I want to share what I have learnt and the incredible mental and physical benefits with others.
I have been teaching now since 2018 and in that time I have been fortunate enough to build up an amazing group of students and my classes have been growing in popularity each
week.
I have a full timetable of classes and workshops to suit a variety of yoga styles and abilities. I am experienced in ensuring the yoga I teach is accessible to everyone and offer a variety of options in each pose so you can always work at your own pace.
My aim throughout classes is to teach you how to listen to your body and mind and to help you build strength, flexibility, acceptance, confidence and a deep state of calm. As well as helping the body become stronger, healthier and less prone to injury, I am experienced in helping participants recuperate and recover after injury and illness with many wonderful success stories within the group.
I also include lots of effective stress and anxiety relieving techniques to help you build a mental health tool kit that works for you in day to day life. I always aim to leave people feeling completely relaxed, calm, happy and comfortable after every class.
As well as classes, I run regular yoga retreats which are always absolutely amazing! From a weekend in a luxury spa resort at the foot of Glastonbury Tor, to a wild camping weekend beneath the stars. I also run regular half day yoga retreat for when you need an escape away from life and some time for you.
As well as classes and retreats, I also provide yoga at various events such as parties, well-being events, local festivals, corporate events etc. If you need someone to help you with providing yoga, give me a shout and I’ll help in any way I can.
I am qualified in providing a gorgeous, deeply relaxing Indian Head Massage to melt away your tension, pain and stress. Please contact me to find out more.
Lunasana Yoga isn’t just a class. We are now an incredible community of friendly and supportive people that all look out for each other. We have regular socials including parties, walks, paddle boarding, BBQs etc. We love welcoming new people to the group where you can join in with as many, or as little
of the extra curricular activities as you choose
